UNIQUE is a voluntary organisation supporting Transgender people in North Wales & West Cheshire.
Trans people, from closet Cross-dressers to Transsexuals following Gender Reassignment Surgery, often need reassurance and support from others with similar experiences.

Support & Information
Unique's prime aim is to help Trans people accept themselves and find acceptance from others.  We do this by supporting indviduals and by offering information and training to the wider community.

Unique has a wealth of personal experience and useful contacts within the local community and caring professions.

Monthly Meetings
We offer a friendly and safe environment where Trans people can meet once a month, find support and make friends.
Unique is an inclusive group that welcomes all Transgender people, wherever they are on the spectrum, together with partners, friends and anyone who wishes to support the Transgender community.

Special Events

In 2006 Unique began hosting weekend events to extend the social reach of the group beyond those members who attend the regular meetings.  These weekends have now become an established part of the Unique year.
